Prom
If guys are complaining because they’re having a hard time asking for prom and because they always have to do the first move, I just want everyone to know that girls don’t have it that easy either. They have to wait to be asked (for most cases) because sometimes it looks weird and desperate if the girls ask. And sometimes, girls are really weaker to accept rejection if they make the first move. (I’m not saying that it’s not depressing if a guy gets rejected) Also, if a guy does something really sweet to ask a girl and the girl doesn’t wanna go with the guy, it’s hard for the girl to say no and turn the guy down. It’s not that they were heartless. Rejecting someone is one of the things that will make a girl most guilty. The next case is, if the girl is not pretty enough to be asked (like me), she will arrange something with her close/best guy friend. But sometimes, the close/best guy friend gets a date or decides to go stag.
But this is not a girl-biased post.
Girl, if you really want to go to prom with someone and there’s only a 1% chance that they’ll ask you or even think about you, even if it’s physically impossible, have the balls to do the first move. Trying doesn’t hurt. At least not that much. But getting stuck in a “what if” stage is just devastating.
